2. Ecopond bags are certified by Biodegradable Products Institute to meet ASTM D6400 standard. ASTM D6400 is an US standard and we can print BPI logo on our bags to assure our bags are 100% biodegradable and compostable.
3. There is not any polyethylene in Ecopond bags.
4. There is no chemical additive to enhance decomposition. Ecopond bags biodegrade naturally under composting condition.
5. Strength of Ecopond bags is similar to regular plastic bags.
6. HDT (heat distortion temperature) of Ecopond bags is 75 which means it is no problem at all when shipping via ocean. It also means it is allowed to contact with heat substance such as hot food, hot drink, hot waste etc..
